5 years ago something really special happened to me. It was the
beginning of a new life-soon after this shoot, I heard from Savannah
College of Art and Design that I was the recipient of a Dean's
Fellowship and I would start school in the Fall. My dream of becoming
an artist had finally begun. I am so grateful to my friend, John Ferris Robben, for
capturing the pure joy that I felt at that time-it is palpable and
brings it all back to me just looking at these photos
