When one door closes, another opens;
but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door
that we do not see the one which has opened for us.
Alexander Graham Bell

recently I had a door slammed so hard in my face
it felt like my heart had been torn out of my chest

since then, doors have been flying open in front of me,
to the left of me, to the right of me,
up, down and sideways

 at every angle

and I am diving right through those open doors
