Monica Seggos
I didn't know
where I was going
or how to get
to where
I didn't know
where I was going

I only held
the hand
of my heart
and hung on
plunging
into the depths
of my being
my feelings
my emotions

into the dark

until my heart
rose again
filling me with fire
filling me with light
leading me
to where I was meant
to go
